Skytech Rolling is a known exporter, manufacturer, and trader of Stainless Steel 304L Square Bars, which is a nickel – iron – chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. This stabilization makes SS 304L Square Bars resistant to intergranular attack after exposure in the temperature range which would typically sensitize un-stabilized stainless steels. Alloy 304L Square Bars is titanium stabilised to resist pitting and intergranular attack after fabrication, particularly welding, which includes heating in the critical sensitisation temperature range. Typical applications of Grade 304L Square Bars are: pickling-tank heater, pickling hooks and equipment; phosphoric acid evaporators; tank trucks; chemical process equipment; propeller shafts, and spent nuclear fuel element recovery. SUS 304L Square Bars composition leads to very good resistance to many corrosive environments, most notably stress-corrosion cracking, reducing and oxidizing environments, and to pitting and crevice corrosion. AISI 304L Square Bars is the forerunner of many of the Molybdenum containing nickel iron chromium alloys which have seen service over the past century.
Type 304L Square Bars, in conjunction with the molybdenum and copper, also gives outstanding resistance to reducing environments such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Although not fully resistant to stress - corrosion cracking in boiling magnesium chloride, 304L Stainless SS Square Bars has good resistance in neutral chloride media. Stainless Steel UNS S30403 Square Bars also has good resistance in neutral chloride media, stress-corrosion cracking and satisfactory resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
